My likely closer - SN Bigfoot 2025. I'll confess that I ate some edibles earlier so I am in a mellow place.

4 Hands Octohaze IPA. Good stuff. Blues are down 1-0 with 7 minutes in the second period left.

This is a fitting after dinner beer.
This is one of my favorite spiced winter warmers. I know I may get sh#t for saying that.

Totally understandable. It’s surely no easy feat, but you’re still amongst friends, virtual and otherwise to keep the days filled with…something. :beers:

Getting into the March Madness mood and spent all afternoon watching college hoops. Been some good games today and some not so good games. Alabama/Auburn was an awesome battle.

Starting with a Dirtwolf from Victory. Best By 1/19/25. Still pretty good even though it's a month and half past the best buy date. A little more malty taste shines through now. Haven't had this in a long time. I need to learn my lesson in ordering IPAs online.

I know it's a big ask but I feel like having a bottled date or best by date for online ordering should be mandatory. Would also help the store identify which beers are past shelf life and pull them. Would probably be hard for the macro beer and tracking in store sales though. My local grocery store still has some KBS Espresso from 2021 on the shelf.

I did find this FWIW ..

Moving on after the death of your wife is a deeply personal process that requires allowing yourself to grieve fully, finding support from loved ones, and gradually rebuilding your life by exploring new interests, considering therapy if needed, and honoring your wife's memory while accepting that your life will look different now.
    Key points to remember:

    Grief is a process:

There's no timeline for grief, so be patient with yourself and allow yourself to feel all emotions, including sadness, anger, and guilt.

    Seek support:

Lean on family, friends, support groups, or a grief counselor to talk about your feelings and share experiences.

    Honor her memory:

Find ways to keep your wife's memory alive, like sharing stories, visiting meaningful places, or creating a dedicated space in your home.
    Self-care is essential:
Prioritize physical and mental health by eating well, exercising regularly, getting enough sleep, and engaging in activities you enjoy.

    Steps to consider taking:

Accept the reality of the loss:
Acknowledge that your wife is gone and that your life has changed significantly.

    Review practical matters:

Handle legal and financial affairs related to your wife's passing.

    Gradually re-engage with life:

Start with small steps, like going for walks, reconnecting with friends, or resuming hobbies.

    Explore new interests:

Discover new activities or passions that could bring you joy and a sense of purpose.

    Consider therapy:

If your grief is overwhelming or impacting your daily life, seeking professional help from a grief counselor can be beneficial.

    Join a support group:

Connecting with others who have experienced similar losses can provide valuable understanding and companionship.

    Important things to avoid:

    Rushing back to "normal":
Give yourself time to process your emotions and don't feel pressured to move on too quickly.

    Isolating yourself:

Maintaining connections with loved ones is crucial during this difficult time.

    Ignoring your physical health:

Prioritize healthy habits to support your emotional well-being.

    Guilt or self-blame:

Recognize that grief is not about fault, and try not to blame yourself for your wife's passing.

Remember that moving on doesn't mean forgetting your wife, but rather finding a way to live a fulfilling life while carrying her memory with you.
