Clever Girl. An IPA brewed by Triple Crossing. One of my favorite TC brews.

I think I need something stronger than beer. The stock market has been kicking my ass.

Drinking a couple Wild Herds

 

Some Double Bubble seemed like a good idea tonight. Delicious as always. Too bad our local distributor doesn't get it very often. I got this in Wisconsin the last time I was there.

 

Hazy g.o.a.t.! it's been a while since I've had this beer.

Masthead - Double Barrel Far From The Tree. This time our blend of Imperial Stout and maple Wheatwine aged in bourbon barrels, before an additional slumber in apple brandy barrels. 15.5%

Well, here we are. Wasn't planning on having this so soon, but desperate times...

What a nice one. The combination of stout, maple, bourbon, and apples is way above my pay grade but it works so well. It's so nuanced with flavors that linger. Probably should have popped open a bomber yesterday instead of burning this, but that's okay.

This is a celebration of life and loss and standing at the brink of the unknown. Got some hockey on, got taxes done, got some cleaning done, good to while away the time until the grind starts again. Speaking of being on the verge of the unknown...

Maybe the first corned beef posting of the season, and it was delicious!! Fork tender. As my neighbor referred to it as New England Boiled Dinner

This stuff from Branch & Blade and Spyglass is rather nice.

 

If I were a young man, or even a middle aged man, I would be buying up as much stock as I can with this downslide. But alas, I am not so young anymore and should be looking to sell once the markets pick back up. Hopefully, before I end up horizontally for eternity.
