Some times dudes need those dudes only days to reset. I assume you’re a dude. Apologies if not. I get myself in trouble lately.

Time for some Bell’s Hopslam

 

It’s certainly a big change. Last summer in Wyoming, she was doing great. Around Christmas, she was on death’s doorstep. She has congestive heart failure. She is on oxygen all the time now. We have a home health care provider who is with her for a couple days a week, and I’m there for 3-4 days per. Last week was spring break, so I was able to stay. She’s getting around the house pretty good now, and we watch either old westerns or Netflix stuff. At 92, she eats whatever she wants, so I’m rotating between home made pizza, tacos, chicken wings and steaks. I try to walk 6-7 miles early each morning while she’s asleep.
My wife has been great, making cookies and such for her each week. But they don’t get along and haven’t spoken in about 10 years…


Life sure gets different…..

 

Starting off the evening with this Logboat Belma & The Queen IPA. Last night we had the tornado sirens going on and off for over an hour. We lost power for 5 hours, but were otherwise fine. Lots of tree damage & power lines down in the area. Craziness. Hoping the rest of you in the line of danger fared well yesterday & today. I need to catch up on the posts.

Bottom line, this is a very nice collaboration blend, lambic full of enjoyable flavors. Really glad I pulled this bottle. Just what I need coupled with Yacht Rock through 9 PM before early bed and hopefully refreshed for Round 2 tomorrow.
