3 Sons is kinda hilarious to be the comparison when everybody dumped their membership a few years ago.

I guess they severely improved it.

 

They've always offered full/early access to their BA beers. It's just they were 50% sludge for a couple years.

 

We prefer the term “protein”.

 

I only started drinking 3 Sons a couple years ago. Everything I’ve had from them has been great. But to each they own!

 

Looks like the Veil IPA collab isn’t getting great reviews

 

I had a pour at the brewery yesterday. Thought it was perfectly okay, but didn't love it. Couldn't exactly put my finger on why. Maybe the honey.

 

I almost always prefer a double IPA to a triple. Once you hit that 10% ABV it starts to get very alcohol-y

Veil IPAs are hit or miss. I get a lot hop burn in my throat....

 

I'll second that...8-8.5% abv is the sweet spot for me. Very few 10% and above tipas don't have that alcohol/citrus/sweet burn.

I'm glad they re-brewed - my on-site encounter with blend 1 of this beer was unfortunately an experience in green pepper.

 

I didn't know they were all releasing it again. Veil has a black truffles and vanilla beans one it appears. I live close by so if anyone wants one lmk.

And the recipe stayed the same, I’m excited

No, I wanted 3-4 bottles of this, but all the whiners got their way with a 1pp limit. Gonna miss that fcfs of days gone by.
