    Adroit Theory/Cushwa collab Future You Hates You Ghost:Hate RIS, 14% ABV. Pours 10wt oil thiccc and dark black with a ring of persistent brown bubbles that left no lacing. Aroma is roast malt, coffee, and dark chocolate. Taste follows, slightly sweet, moderately bitter, some alcohol evident. Excellent thiccc and smooth mouthfeel, overall outstanding to world-class adjacent.

    Finishing my stash of this, it’s an excellent juicy hazy that hides the 11% ABV really well, IMHO. Need to check out more from Riverlands.

    Hop Butcher Mellotron (7.5% canned 12/29/24):     A NEIPA from Chicago with Citra, Azaaca, & Moteuka for flavors of lemon, papaya, and bright citrus.

    Another Mellotron. Smooth, tropical, and enjoyable Motueka hop flavors. Hop Butcher greatness in full form.

    Dark amber pour, clear; dense, moderately rising carbonation; thick, dense head, light khaki color. Fine aroma; light toffee and caramel notes. Rich malt underpinning carrying elements of mild toffee; lightly roasted tree nuts; light brown sugar; nice bitterness counterpoint. Medium-heavy mouthfeel; smooth and and densely silky; simple stickiness with a gentle warmth on the palate.

    All in all, a nicely crafted doppelbock.
