    Nice - I always love having another guitar player on board!!! That's a pretty nice Guild - I have several different hollow body jazz guitars and I really enjoy them. This one is a 1976 Gibson Howard Roberts Custom - fantastic guitar!

    ...they call themselves the home of 'balanced beers'...the stout (which @Whyteboar may attest to) is straightforward yet exceedingly tasty (as a non-adjunct stout)..same thing with their India pale ale (just a no-nonsense west coast styled IPA)...yes, they do hazies and barrel-aged, and...but their core beers are the simple yet well-crafted type of beer someone like me craves...

    ...and, yes, their name is taken from neck-beard personalities in the industry, but they do a pretty decent business being simple and straightforward in what they offer...

    Thanks! Yeah I'm really enjoying this one. I've had a few others before this, but definitely up there for me.
    I also remember hating IPAs, but I'll probably give one a try again.

    Thanks!!! It's in pretty good condition for a guitar that's 49 years old. There's some finish checking where the pickguard used to be. Gibson used celluloid pick guards and over time, they out-gassed and disintegrated and that's what caused the finish checking. The pick guard basically just fell apart.

    That has no effect on the tone so it doesn't bother me, part of that guitar's past life and story.

    Yeah, I poured THE FUUUUUUUUUUUUDGE OUT OF THAT BEER. Chinooker’d by Lawson’s because a piney IPA sounded good tonight. It really is balanced between pine and citrus, so not exactly the main flavor I wanted, but pleasant nonetheless.

    I got one for @not2quick when I send out the other beer. For all I know, @Blogjackets can’t get this his way, and might need a hook up with this and regular SoS.

    Simplicity wins. No forensic analysis needed vs something called Nightshades of terror while driving home from the Klopeks.

    No that’s not really a real beer name, but parts of it are.

    I’ve gotten myself in all sorts of arguments over my opinions of yellow beers. Stouts and barleywines all day (TM). Never mind the current yellow beer in my glass. LOL!
