Lolev Dōmbōc Baltic Porter, 8% ABV. Pours blackish-brown with a 5+ finger beige persistent head that left little lacing. Aroma is oak, chocolate, and cherry. Taste follows, plus dark fruit and char, slightly sweet, moderately bitter. Dry mouthfeel, overall excellent.

More New TX beer



Funky citrus taste. Whatever they use to get that funk in IPA, is in there. Far from bad but way different and maybe one where the second is better, we'll see.

Hey that's a decent beer!! When I first started getting into craft I remember buying those weirdly shaped green bottles that were always skunked. I just tried the cans a few weeks ago. Pretty good. "Alsatian Lager"

 

I used to be able to get that in 4 packs at TW&M. Then they stopped carrying it. Agreed, it is a damn fine beer! Cheers!

Hop Butcher A Decade of Hop Decadence DIPA.

 

Drinking a Moonraker 2WCIPA called Dankish. Mosaic,Columbus ,Riwaka and Nelson. A nice mixture of hops from domestic to down under. Would like more bitterness , it’s more on the fruity dank side.
