Yes - except these days they specialize in areas of nose, ears, and throat. I went for some sinus related issues. He thinks the issues I'm having are related to acid reflex so he wants me to take 2 prescriptions for 2 months and then I have a followup appointment.

That actually makes sense because I had an endoscopy done for my esophagus last summer and he said the same thing, but I didn't really want to take the medication Omeprazole so I didn't - that was based on what I read about it. But this guy clarified it so since I've had 2 doctors tell me the same thing, I'll try it for the next 2 months Cheers!!!

 

Decided to go for two. Cheers.

Understood, good for you to keep up with that Larry. Not to be alarming or dramatic but I had a buddy that had severe acid reflux to the point it lead to throat ulcers and had to go in to have them cauterized every now and again. He was not a happy guy. Get a hold on that condition and good health to you sir!

As long as everyone is going to throw around suggestions...I've had a lot of success with minimizing reflux up to 90% with just taking digestive enzymes before a meal. Does work,I can always send you some
