Best Beer Travel Destinations

Where are Portland and Seattle? For the USA at least…

I was bored. I looked. I took me one minute. Weird list. Encinitas and Pittsburg? Sure, New York is on the list, but I would have Seattle and Denver above them

Living an hour from Pittsburgh, I must say the beer scene is VERY good and interesting, but to put it on the top 10 in the world? I was SHOCKED!!!

 

That'd be a hell of a road trip, the glaring omission of Iqaluit notwithstanding...

 

I keep meaning to go to Iqaluit but just can't find the time to commit for that trip.

 

Pittsburgh has a great beer scene, but top ten? I seriously doubt any place in India would rate as the #1 beer destination in the world. I spit out my beer when I saw that.

 

If folks can get past the “Top 10” click bait, and read it instead as “some interesting beer destinations,” it’s a worth perusing.

 

Where are Munich and Prague?

Also, no Seattle, Portland, Denver, Grand Rapids, Richmond, or Philadelphia? I'd put any of them over Pittsburgh or NYC for the US. Why does the entry on Pittsburgh not mention Church Brew Works?

Gent Belgium is way better than Antwerp!

 

What are your preferred drinking spots in Gent?

 

1. 't Galgenhuisje (the hanging house)
2. Het waterhuis aan de bierkant (the water house on the beer side)

 

As someone who loves travel and beer, this list is super mega infinity ass

 

I enjoyed Waterhuis the time I visited. If I ever make it back, I’ll have to check out that other one.

 

I was just in Bangalore. I most certainly DO NOT recommend as a beer destination. At all. Placing at #1 is ridiculous.

 

Perhaps the purpose of the article is to challenge your preconceptions.

 

Or they just throw shite against the wall to see what sticks, for clicks.

@BBThunderbolt has already stopped clicking. Can you blame him? They didn’t even add Kiribati to the list. That’s pretty much a unanimous top-10 destination!
