Full review linked above, full New BeerWeekend #247 linked here. WBAYDN treatment, this is very sweet, but within my comfort zone, and likely my favorite Black Blackberry beer. Surprisingly enjoy the strong cinnamon as well. Perfect for an early morning beverage.

AWS Whiskey Yeti (2024) from Great Divide Brewing. Purchased at Franklin Beer (Franklin, PA) 11/03/25. 16 fl oz can, $ 11.00 (Including tax)/ $ 0.688 fl oz. Reviewed 12/04/25 (Review 3501). Note that I use DD/MM/YY protocol.

Final impression and summation: 4 None of the advertised vanilla, naturlich! Honestly, I haven’t seen a base Yeti in years, so I can’t comment on any changes from the base beer, but this brew, taken alone, is OK – nothing special – just a basic imperial stout.

Thanks! They went deep with the Amburana barrel usage this season. While it is/was new to me and sweet, for me the cinnamon and blackberry blend worked best for this barrel treatment, and best among the three Amburana barrel offerings I tried this season. Would recommend to those who like either flavor profile. Otherwise, stick with their stouts and Ryeway to Heaven. Hope you can come across this one which is only a few months from release.

Went with a live on air musical pairing, but this is the proper song for this beer selection I’m finishing.

This tastes better to me the more it warms up. The best one yet was at room temp. I think I also just discovered where some metal and grunge bands got inspired: this song is way better at 33 speed

When using my Android device, pressing and holding down for a second on the letter I want to type will make a little pop up window appear and then I can slide my finger to whatever symbol I want to be over the letter.
