    Well, maybe just a few sips for research. Hey, Porter! Robust Porter from Double Mountain Brewery in Hood River, Ore.

    This is a less common style of dark beer and I would have to say it tastes like a Double Dry Irish Stout. It's not all that strong and the charred black malt takes the lead. However, the malty and rather sweet flavors are still there and gives this some balance. The aftertaste is very dark with a better edge not entirely hoppy tasting. Highly flavorful and an interesting very dark brew.
