What Beer Are You Drinking Now? #4577

Surly Hell Lager (5.0%): A German lager from Minnesota that has flavors of lemonflower with a dry yeasty and pale malt finish.

A classic and great German lager from Surly. One of my all-time favorites and I think among their best beers. Absolutely beautiful pour with great hop and malt flavors. Unfiltered like a Kellerbier, it is one of the best.

 

Long day mostly done…spent 4 hours dealing with a dead RV battery…auto store replaced it for free (under warranty) so not a wasted day. Relaxing in the sun with an Atomic Torpedo:

It's okay - I like the regular Blue Moon better. I felt this one had a bit of a heavy feel to it. It lacks the refreshing element of the regular Blue Moon. Don't misinterpret this though, it's still a decent beer - give it a try if you see it, I'd be interested in knowing what you think. Cheers!!!

 

I love scotch bonnets, a staple in Jamaican cooking. I like them more than habaneros, I think they have a better flavor to them. I usually add 4 or 5 to jerk sauce when I make it. Enjoy!!!

 

Back home, time for a good beer. This Schwarzbier checks that box with a sledgehammer. Goldfinger’s lager game is world class, IMHO.

Real Ale Wrist Rocket Imperial Blonde. A bit hot, but not terrible by any stretch.

 

Thought I would buy a bottle. Brewed in Lithuania.
