Last week's email about Ritual said to keep an eye out for Parfait Samoa - I think that's what he's referring to.

Ah, and an email finally came through.

Also pumped for another Provence beer. Some of those have been seriously good.

Are the parfaits usually worth getting into for $20/can?

I think you could ask this question to 20 different people and get 20 different answers. I think it boils down to your sweet tooth. Do the flavor combinations sound good to you? I’ve had some parfaits that nailed it for me and others I could take or leave. One thing I feel is less subjective is that when you combine barrel-aged beer with fresh beer the barrel is very subtle to nonexistent. It basically seems like a way to get rid of barrels that didn’t pan out and jack up the price. Win / win for them. All that said, this one excites me.

Some are good, some suck. Parfait b4 was one of my favorite adjuncted beers SP had done in years. I love Samoa stouts (example: Boiler Carmel Delight) so I am excited to try it.

Looks like p9 is ready for pick up already. Has anyone tried it yet? Very interested to hear how this one turned out! Caramel is a difficult one, done right it can be fantastic, but it’s a fine line
