Having a Chick-A-Dee English Style Bitter ..



Just put a cherry tomato based sauce together for dinner (angel hair). Has to simmer for a bit - ground beef, garlic, onions, red wine, basil and an ample amount of fresh Thai chilies.

 

First off, Vienna Lager is one underrated drinking beer but not too many breweries get the original right. Can't make much better choice to go with ribs either. I read the brewery's tasting notes, and it sounds spot on, if they took their time with it. Nice!

 

Will the next Popemoblie be a Tesla?

I was thinking Lincoln Navigator, but you may be right on target!

 

It's pretty decent. As good as a true German Vienna, maybe not quite, but for a local offering, I'm digging it.
It hit all the right notes for a Vienna Lager, fer sure though.
I'd be impressed to brew one this good myself, so I'm not complaining. I'll definitely grab a few more next visit to the beer store.

Excellent! This is probably my favorite all around beer style.

 

Picked up a 12 pack of this (SN Summerfest)after hearing the buzz (late) about this last Fall. Very good. Thursday after work Cheers!!

This little brewpub in Athens, GA, Akademia Brewing Co, labors in the shadow of Creature Comforts. Great IPAs and Stouts but they also do an admirable job with several German style beers. Altered Minds is one I'm always happy to grab. Very nice contrast to the Helles and Maibock I just enjoyed. Prost all!
