    ...back to listening to some old mix cassette tapes of mine...a cut from a tape I called 'Skewed Dichotomies', recorded 11SEP00 (when I would have been living in the military district of Washington DC)...which makes sense as Jakkpot was a Baltimore band (likely around this time)...the tune was bookended with 'Why' by The Stallions and 'Repeater' by Fugazi...

    [​IMG] Happy Mother’s Day weekend and cheers to all the moms out there and the dads who support them! I quit working early today and ran some errands, including stopping in at a bottle shop that I almost never go to in the neighboring county to the north. Picked up some goodies including this one—which I usually grab if I see it. I remember when you had to ask a guy in kind of a hushed voice because they kept all the Pliny in the back. Now it’s reasonably abundant most of the time, which is nice (though it could also be a result of a pretty significant price increase). Anyway, it’s worth it.

    First day of 100 plus degree temps here in AZ. This beer drinks like a double IPA with a sub 7 percent ABV. Creamy and full feel. Ample citrus and citrus pith. Light lingering bitterness. Good beer on a hot day. I give it a 93/100.
