    1) Phase Three Super Swirly (8.0% canned 4/22/25): A NEIPA from Chicago with Citra, Mosaic, Simcoe, & El Dorado for flavors of orange, tropical pineapple, papaya, green melon and smooth lime. Tropical and smooth.
    versus
    2) Phase Three Magnetic (8.0% canned 3/31/25): A NEIPA from Chicago with Nelson, Motueka, and Riwaka for flavors of grapefruit, passionfruit, and white grape. (Correctly matched the two beers blind)

Phase Three NEIPA Battle. First is Super Swirly, a new release. Pretty standard quad of Citra, Mosaic, Simcoe, and El Dorado. Yet incredibly complex and robust flavors of pineapple, papaya, green melon, even berries and lime. I underestimated this based on the hop profile.
Next is Magnetic. More exotic hop profile. The vinous white grape here from Nelson. Outstanding and amazing. I'm slightly biased toward the Nelson and Motueka hop combo, but Super Swirly is quite impressive as well.
    Winner: Super Swirly

    Tasted great!

@LarryV check out this amp. From the 1950s. Unbelieveable sound and tone. Ya gotta understand that I'm back on the drums and I absolutely love open back amps. This one of the best. :beers:

That's a pretty sick looking snare, Les. (And that vintage Fender amp...)

Saint Arnold Eclipse IPA in the glass.

Joe Farrell spinning, Upon this Rock. Everybody here knows I spin at lot of jazz, and a lot of that on the ECM label. This is another label I adore, though their output was brief in the 70's, and they didn't produce as many albums as ECM (which is seemingly never ending at this point). Though this is on the wonderful CTI label. Pete Turner always did the iconic photography for these albums. Anyway...

That snare is an Ellis drum but is a Keller maple shell with re-rings. Google Jim Keller the drum maker. :beers:
