From the few places i spoke to, looks like Cherry Rye should be hitting westchester either early next week or the week of the 21st.

I stopped in Bierkraft yesterday evening, talked to someone who said they didn't get any and that the whole city got only 6 cases (clearly not true, but whatever). Called Eagle and was told they'd hopefully get it on Monday.

SERIOUSLY??? Holy crap. I can only imagine what Eagle is going to ask for it then. I got mine for $20 (Whole Foods) and $22 (New Beer) yesterday. So happy I didn't reserve one at BTP.

that's absurd. I don't even think Eagle will be marking theirs up anywhere near that. Either way, there will always be people paying these inflated prices. I'm sure BTP is already sold out.

I didn't ask what they were charging when they called, and then when I got there and was told I waffled for a second but was already too far gone to back out, I am ashamed to admit.

After this and Westvleteren, it's Tecate and Gansett for me for a long time.

Any word on a Brooklyn location, or anywhere that might still get some? Just called Eagle and both guys I talked to seemed clueless.

If you're willing to take the trip to Bay Ridge, there's a 24hr beer store on 94th and 3rd ave that was supposed to get a case in (there's also another store on 72nd and 3rd that might have gotten some too).

Seriously. I think coffee was $31 there if I recall correctly. Good for them if they can get it, I guess. Or something like that.

Good lord, $38 a bottle. I got my bottles of CBS there when it was released, and yeah they were a couple bucks more than most other places (I paid $26/bottle), but at least they were in the same ballpark. That's $15 more per bottle for Cherry Rye than every place else I've seen in Manhattan.

I reserved one at BTP in GCT before knowing the price would be $38. I was lucky enough to find one already, and just can't pull the trigger at this price. If there is anyone out their that got shut out everywhere else, and needs a last resort, send me a BM and I'll give you my name so you can pick one up today.

I reserved one as well at BTP and couldn't stomach the price, they released my bottle at 10 last night, so if anyone is looking, there is at least one available there.

Hate to defend eagle but for some reason their goose island island prices are not as bad as other stuff. Coffee this year was $17 and change and night stalker is $12.39. On the other hand Black OPS still sitting on the shelf for $30 when you can grab it for $19.99 at whole foods and FW 15 for l$33. Not to mention the beers behind the counter

Beer Table Pantry got it yesterday and the woman I spoke with said they had quite a few bottles left as of this morning. It's $38/bottle as someone stated.

Whole Foods on 57th between 2nd and 3rd Ave also got it yesterday. Standard ~$21 after tax.

Ginger Man also had it on their bottle list as of yesterday. It was listed at $24 but you get a discount for bottles to go...my bill of a glass of BR Tartare and a bottle of Cherry Rye came to $30 after taxes.

the beer table pantry price is after tax, so if you're comparing it to the $19.99 WF prices, then it was $35.

That was definitely more than I expected to pay for it, but the bottle I got at WF was way cheaper than I expected to pay for it. So I got two bottles at an average price of $27.50, which I am totally ok with.

I figured Pantry would charge the same they did for Coffee... Cherry Rye (and Coffee for that matter) where both around $25 after taxes everywhere I found them on Long Island.
