I used to work for Mettler-Toledo (based there in Columbus) and went to Derive one night after business meetings. Absolutely loved it, loved the food, loved the beer, loved the atmosphere, and loved hanging out with all the locals at the bar (and made new friends). Now, that chain tree, that wasn't there at the time, how long has that been there? And the Derive glass I posted earlier? I used to have a Stone Old Guardian glass that was a favorite and it accidentally broke (saddest day ever).



That glass was the first time I've ever seen that shape since and the folks at Derive were kind enough to sell me the glass (even though they weren't for sale). God Bless their Manager, I'm forever grateful and will never forget!

 

Another one of these. I think I have something of importance to do tomorrow. Better check.
