If people bring their kids - I dont have a problem with that, but leave your fucking mutts at home, theres no place for your beast at a brewery.

Are you sure that is cask ale in the St. Bernard's small barrel?

I would say the complete opposite. I love when breweries have a water station or self serve water.
I like to hydrate between drinks and I'd much rather get it myself than standing in line or asking the beertenders for water refills.
Not sure if it's a faux pas but I am not a fan of when the hops are not listed on the IPA's.

I don't know if it's the end of the world, but I hate when a brewery has a shitload of IPAs and their board/list doesn't tell me the difference between them. Give me the ABV and at least a super basic description like "hazy" "bright" "fruity" "bitter" "strong" "piney" double" "imperial" etc. etc.
A simple list featuring Jim Bob's IPA, Angry Possum IPA, and Beachside IPA is basically worthless to a non-regular.

If you've been around long enough, you can read into these names. Jim Bob's IPA is definitely a pale ale. Angry Possum IPA is an attempt at a west coast (but with not enough malt and low quality hops). And Beachside is definitely a blonde pretending to be an IPA.

Are you talking about breweries or bars? The large majority of breweries I go to these days don't have bars you're seated at, and you're not directly served at the tables. You get up to order beer from the bar.

In that case, I much prefer separate water stations so the bartenders can focus on pouring beer rather than water so I get that quicker.

I'm not a fan of breweries without bars. Most of my friends aren't that big on going to breweries, even if they're into craft beer, so I usually only go when no one is available to hang out, and will chat with others at the bar.

Breweries that aren't open by noon or 1 on weekdays... because I might be on vacation and wanna hit your place early/for lunch (I know, wah)

When on a beercation I've had to skip some breweries because of limited hours, so they do lose business. I understand the breweries' reasons, but at least consider early hours during the summer season. (Some in cold areas already do.)

The problem is, I like ice water. A lot of breweries don't even have an ice machine. And, I've never seen ice at a self serve water sta6.

I hate that. Especially when taking a long weekend and you find out they aren’t open at all on like a Monday or Tuesday.

An increasingly big faux pas is making the same beer over and over and calling it different things.

another is all the beer clubs giving you the 12oz yeti can holder when everyone uses 16oz cans

Reminds me of the Toronado in San Diego. The boards listed the brewery, beer name, and ABV. But not the style. So you could try to guess or shout at the bar keeper or worse, the bouncer Nathan, and see if they would condescend to answer intelligibly.

I actually wish more places refused to give samples. The frustration I'll feel about buying a full pour of something I didn't end up liking is nothing compared to the frustration I feel when waiting in line behind someone who wants to keep taking sips of everything like they are a four-year old at an ice-cream shop (not saying that's you, but I've seen some folks take the tasting thing way too far).
