    Thought of two more:

-Not listing the ABV of the beer

-Not updating the "Currently on tap" portion on their website. Totally cool if you don't want to have a "currently on tap" list on your website. But if you do have one, then you need to update it, otherwise you don't actually have one.

I could imagine.. personally, I've never witnessed anyone taking advantage or taking an eternity when sampling beers at a brewery. Don't recall ever waiting more than 2 minutes to order a beer anywhere? Never experienced the frustrations of waiting in line for a beer. I'll only ask for samples if they have 2 very similar beers that have peaked my interest. I've been given samples many times without asking, courtesy of the beertenders.. excited about a new beer on tap or just sharing their house specialties as was the case at Cycle Brewing last year. I went in for an IPA and the kind bartender drops 3 tasters of their BA stouts in front of me. What is a beer-loving person to do?!

I don't think he's talking about "May I have a taste of X and Y?" There are folks that have interactions like "Can I try A? Hmm, Can I try B? Nope, Can I try C? Maybe, what's D like?"

Meh, that doesn’t both me so much. That suggests people want to sample a few different things and are willing to pay to do so. The sampling suggests a larger issue, where people seemingly want their experiences to be perfect. It’s a beer, not a car. Buy a pint. If it sucks, don’t buy it again.

That's frowned upon behavior for sure. People who feel like they're the only one that exist in the room! I've encountered it in other environments.

Someone is out of sorts over a blonde stout? What is this, 2014?

Well, it's been over 10 years, and it sucked back then, so why are they still making them? We've had around a half dozen IPA styles come and go since then.

They could save everyone a lot of time and just walk into the brewery and drop their pants.

They're so terrible a local brewery has had an annual release of a flagship-tier blonde stout for years.

Are they for me? No. But I'm a nerd, and most things breweries make aren't geared towards me. But that doesn't make it a "most offensive faux pas," not even close.

    Frozen mugs/glasses

Out of date beer in cans AT THE BREWERY

Offensive sexy names for beers…something like “nasty nurse pilsner’ or “saucy wench stout”

    All of the above….So lame…..

With emphasis on the OP's thread title word "offensive" (and I hope no one is eating a meal while reading this) I think there are some breweries that rarely, if ever, sanitize the restrooms. To walk into one with the over-powering stench of stale urine is just not acceptable. These places have been few and far between, but they exist.

A friend of mine always included a sentence or two about the restrooms when reviewing a place. His well founded reason was that if they couldn't keep them clean, he doubted the cleanliness of the rest of the facility.

Is it a faux pas if it's ubiquitous? For me, it's these big, hangar-like "brewpubs" with metal scaffolding on the ceiling, echoey acoustics, dark empty spaces, and even garage-door entrances. Seems like most of them here in Denver. I like small intimate spaces, comfy chairs, pictures on the walls, or at least fun stuff hanging on walls... If you're from Philly--think of the difference between the old Yards tap room and the new one. When the new one opened, my wife and I stepped in, took one look, and got the heck out of there. Or--remember the old tap room of Forrest and Main (when it was actually at Forrest and Main)?

not sure if that's a faus pas so much as an egregious error but i guess if you're known for only those, that's what your audience wants
i think most breweries are doing dumb stuff.

never wanted to drink a beer less than the brown note
ding ding ding, just a truly abhorrent brewery

not enough people vote with their wallet

Heavily scented cleaning solutions used to wipe down the tables/bars/floors etc; really off-putting while trying to enjoy my beer
