Don't get me wrong, I really dig Big Foot! But there are so many better BW's that NEVER get any play on BA.
I do love Monster... especially with some age on it! Monster is awesome with a 1/4 shot of good bourbon in it as well!

To each his own, can't say I liked monster or blithering idiot. For something so widely distributed it's a great chance for everyone to try it. I will say insanity blew my mind though. Waiting to crack open a KH, oak aged backburner, and sucuba!

Just had some insanity tonight. Reminds me of flavors found in imperial stouts.

Yeah...GRBrew told me B&B liquors on 28th had it...I bought a 6 pack last week...very good! GRBrew also opened a bottle of 2005 Bigfoot at the KBS release and that was amazing!

This thread inspired me to try the one I have had sitting in the fridge, normally I do not like Barley wines, but this one is very drinkable. Bravo to SN.

My grocery store is selling it for $8.49 a sixer. I'm gonna go clear 'em out.

I can tell you that a 10 year old properly aged Bigfoot is sublime. I opened one with a few friends last weekend and it was awesome. By comparison, the fresh one we had was nearly undrinkable ... and I usually like fresh Bigfoot!

    Yup, sierranevadabill himself confirmed it:

"We have about 100Bbl's (just over 1000 cases worth) of Bigfoot aging in bourbon and single-malt scotch barrels at the moment. Once those barrels move out of the warehouse and into a bottle will get some more barrels and fill 'em up and release the beer again. We're planning on several releases within the year (hence the year-round status) but only limited amounts in each release because of the volume constraints in our barrel program.

We don't have a release date yet, sadly...it probably won't be in May as previously reported on the sales calendar due to other projects derailing the release. I'll be sure to let the forums know what's what well before the actual release."

Damn, you named a ton of brews that I have never tried or seen in stores here, I'm living in the wrong effing state! That being said I do recognize GD Old Ruffian on your list, but that is all, will have to give it a try next time.
