We were in Boston today. Decided we had the time to stop at the Pru and get our cold brew and releases I wanted to try. As well as one pour.

Forgot today was the Anime convention. Fucking wild scene. Which, is an understatement on how busy the Atrium tap space was. The mall was overloaded with people for sure and we saw every costume known to man. Epic seeings TH absolutely slammed with Anime fans. Picture the taprooms overrun with kids. Except swap out kids for adults in costumes dancing, cheering, being strange and whatever else. Someone also puked all over the bathroom and urinal when I went to take a piss. What a day. But, everyone seemed to be cool and enjoying themselves. And really enjoying Treehouse. God I hope someday I get to be at the taps with people in costume again honestly saying, “I don’t drink beer or know yours, can you help me Mr taster?” It was such honesty haha

Trail Peacharine is the single greatest beer ever made and I will not hear otherwise.

Bought it the minute I could this year. It’s just about perfect.

I don’t like Peacharine. They say there’s no stupid questions, but do you think I would like it?

Possibly. It's definitely prominent in the flavor, though.

    Absolutely worth trying regardless.

    Funny you say that.

Jubilee…garbage. Like who the fuck enjoys that.

Trail Peacharine…holy hell yes. It was my beer of the summer last year.

Maybe I'll try Trail Peacharine. The few beers I've tried with it were a turn off to the point that I filed it under 'hops I don't like' along with shit like sabro and cashmere

We’ve noticed and run out already once. Which yeah, is a first world problem. But it has been very noticeable since we stock up weekly. It’s all we drink for cold brew. It used to be limitless and too much to pick from. There are issues with crops and weather I know of. Our local shop owner had said coffee will be facing challenges for distribution for a period of time moving forward. He’s had to alter his blends and can’t sell his most popular due to shortages of the beans. He also had to raise prices again due to it. I imagine TH may be feeling some of this.

I also figure they are using some tank space to pump out a lot of summer crush and other summer blend soon to be released.

    Is Sabro the "coconut" one?

Need to get out of the house for a few hours on Sunday with my todler. Never brought either of my kids to a brewery of any kind, but we just need to be somewhere to kill the day.I do need to stock up on some beer for a large party we're having the weekend after, so I figured this would be a good way. How horrible of an idea is it on anniversary weekend lol. I'm starting to think we should do something else. Is Charlton still a disaster on weekends?

I know the beer selection is considerably smaller, but if you could make due with Sap, J, KJ, and a few others, I gotta think the Ct farm would be a much nicer day with the kids.

id be more concerned w crowds if the insane weather somehow hits a Saturday or Sunday - doesn’t seem to be anything too special for anniversary stuff this weekend, but I think we’re entering peak crowd season regardless. Anecdotally I feel like people say Tewks is more packed these days, but who knows.

10th canniversary seems to be celebrating the things that steered me away from NE IPAs. Astringent and hop burn. Also very thick and yeast sludgy.

I'll sit on the rest of them for a few weeks

Sandwich Pizza now says "Available by the slice". This definitely did not used to be the case. Anyone know when it changed / if it is permanent?
