I love Warsteiner Dunkel. Can anyone recommend an American equivalent...ideally on the East Coast? Thanks

If you like the Dunkel beer style I would recommend Von Trapp Dunkel to you. And it is an East Coast beer, brewed in Vermont, distributed elsewhere on the East Coast (I get it in PA).

Not exactly a Warsteiner "equivalent" since it is a much better Dunkel IMO. Warsteiner Dunkel is a decent beer but a little bit lacking in character for a Dunkel for my palate.

    Cheers!

I’ll second the recommendation for Von Trapp Dunkel- fantastic beer! (I got mine in MI)
