Phase Three/North Park Art is Pixel IPA (Citra, Simcoe, Motueka). Lime sorbet, ripe valencia orange, yellow grapefruit, tangelo, lime and orange zest, earthiness, and pine resin. Super soft and silky. The best of P3's Pixel & Pals pack imho, but that was expected given the pedigree of both breweries when it comes to hops.

Hey man! It's a chapter on the rise of ultra-marathons in the American West and the impacts they can have on landscapes, towns, along with their benefits to small-town communities when done right.
It'll be part of a larger edited volume collection on outdoor recreation in the West, gotta get this puppy done and out the door by next week for an in-person seminar in Utah in early August.
    Cheers! :beers:

Just curious, how much was that pint? Our local Whole Foods has beer on tap and they have pricey pours.

At Hughies, my favorite Vietnamese beer bar :sunglasses:

First up is Fass Brewing Pils Blanc. I have heard a lot about how great their lagers are...

Pours a clear pale yellow color. A dense white head forms with good retention. Lace is left behind as the foam recedes.
A pungent and dank aroma. Berry fruit salad like. Big fruity hops. Not bad at all, but even if I accept that the style is not accurate , its till just a fruity IPA.
Taste wise, again that dank fruity character. If this was an IPA, I'd be impressed with the "dankness." The fruity character becomes sweet, and soapy/solvent like. There is a bitterness lingering.
A medium body and moderate carbonation. A slick and oily feel. This needs to be more crisp, clean and dry. Its fine to drink if you want a fruit salad IPA. As a lager, it has missed the point.

It turns out they are using New Zealand hops..which I didn't know at first. While its perfectly fine for an IPA, but its not a lager. I get there is not a perfect style category for this kind of beer, but come on. If this is what you want to make, just make an IPA. I have heard a lot of hype about Fass lagers, but when this is what I get to try, I'm not particularly impressed.

Score is 3.28, I guess that is a C or something

From a 16oz can. No date on the can.

Murky looking beer with a golden color. It looks like juice with a 2 finger white head. Decent head retention, and a bit of lacing on the glass.
The nose is has a tropical hop flair. I am getting a good hit of melon in the aroma. There's some hints of pineapple that show up as well.
The flavor is dominated by the hops. The pineapple hits right away with hints of grapefruit. There's a slight hint of melon that is less than the aroma let on. There's a bit of bitterness mixed in with some sweetness from the melon.
Juicy and soft body. Maybe a touch light. Smooth feeling overall, slightly creamy feeling.
This beer isn't bad at all. I am glad I bought it.

Drekker Bit By The Party Animal DNEIPA, 8.4% ABV. Pours hazy orange with a four-finger off-white head that left a ton of lacing. Aroma is tropical fruit and citrus. Taste follows, plus berry and pine, moderately sweet, slightly bitter. Nice and juicy mouthfeel, overall outstanding. I'm calling BS on the various sites who aren't calling this a NEIPA. It is.

Best DNEIPA (double NEIPA) I've had in a while. Hey @Bishop I'm catching up on my Drekkers after slacking for the past month. I agree, this one is good.

They need to add a "B" and a "34" to that brewery name.
