The first time I had this was at the “new” Surly brewery right after they opened in December 2014. I was gonna have an Abrasive and the bartender recommended this (when it was Todd The Axe Man) by saying it was better than Abrasive.

He wasn’t wrong. IJS. This is still fantastic, IMHO.

 

Definitely not a local Texas beer. My wife just returned from a roadtrip with her mother to Porterville. Brought a 12 of this back.

Damn, this is good stuff!
