Bock thread cross-post. 1840 Brewing Kidding Season Maibock. On their final weekend. This is quite delicious. I am sad that this brewery must leave us.

#2, at the other end of the beer nerd spectrum, this big boy (16%ABV) BA stout is so well executed. Dangerously drinkable and quite delicious. Absolutely love it.

Here's some beer nerd history stuff on Carling. In the 1960's, that beer was made in Atlanta for distribution in the Southeast. They eventually sold the plant to Coca-Cola in the early 70's.

@beergoot knew the Colorado Rockies and I would be in Milwaukee, WI, this weekend, so he sent me some delicious Colorado beers to enjoy. (The beer haul picture is impending.) This is an IPA from TRVE Brewing. A proper heavy metal brewery. It is delicious! @jmk, the Milwaukee Brewers are feasting on the Colorado Rockies' pitching, heading for the division lead.

I first tried this beer over twenty years ago, and I believe I am enjoying it more today. I wish I could still find DUB Dortmunder beer, as it was one of the first German imports I had in the early 1990s. I recall the flavor being superior to this DAB offering. I don't think DUB beers have been available in the US for a long time.

Kicking off the evening with a Revolution A Little Crazy. Another of those styles I wish there were more available. The Belgian Pale Ale. That blend of fruity esters from the yeast and a splash of hops. Good stuff. Also, the Cardinals came back from being down 6-1 to beat the Guardians.

We haven't been playing well, you have. Seasons have ebbs and flows. I still like our roster better. Good luck. Cheers!
