Am I missing it, or did they not give us release dates yet for each month’s release? I like putting these on my calendar to minimize conflicts and make release gatherings.

My dude, I still have cans from like 2018 haha. Mostly I've been keeping 1 can of each Deep Woods release and I created a "shrine" in my basement, but I recently realized that they might start not tasting so good eventually so I started drinking them.

But yeah, I didn't do a ticket last year or this, but I'll definitely be scooping some releases!

As much as I love Revolution, I generally do not care for aged versions of their BA beers. I find them to be absolutely exceptional fresh and tend to drop off quickly for my taste. I'm lucky to have someone to regularly share these with me so I rarely let them get more than a year or so on them.

    Thanks for posting!

I guess we'll find out closer to the fact, but what are the chances that we'll see Apple Brandy Barrel Ryeway and Mineshaft Gap make regular distro? These are the ones I'm interested in. I really don't want to make the trek into the city anymore.

I think another way of saying this and being equally true is that the Deep Woods beers have always felt released ready to be enjoyed as is

No question. Aging beer has always been a question of whether or not a beer “evolves” into something better than its original form. Revolution already puts a ton of intent into the base beer and regularly uses long term aging. I feel the product they put out is so great that it really can’t go anywhere but down.

Yeah sure but when you buy 20 cans of barrel aged barleywine the point is also to enjoy it over a significant length of time because you love it and can't find anything else like it anywhere, as opposed to drinking 240 ounces of high ABV, high calorie beer as fast as possible in fear of it being ever so slightly less perfect than it was upon release.

Totally get that. For me, I'd buy less. If others like the journey, all the more power to them. Of course, there's nothing wrong with that either.

D.B.X.O. Lynott's Tar is on at the Taproom. One of those "holy shit, this is good" beers.

Rum Barrel V.S.O.J. and Apple Brandy V.S.O.R. also on.

I hate beer acronyms and Rev's got me out here becoming what I hate.

Chances are not good on either; we're planning both of those to be Taproom-only releases. Stay tuned on preview party dates and locations, though, there might be a spot to try them on draft closer to you!

Oddly, I never really questioned why they named a beer Mineshaft Gap...just watched Dr. Strangelove and now I get it. Pretty deep, awesome pop culture reference.

For sure. With almost no relevance to today’s political climate, right?

    …. Right?

Nope. Dr Strangelove was pure fantasy. Like there could ever be a high level rocket maker who emigrated from a white nationalist country who has awkward **** like salutes shaping our governmental processes.
