Great to see so many BAs getting together in person and enjoying good beer and good company.

I'm starting with the second and last of the hand-packaged scotch ales I had in the fridge. The head was short lived but it looked a heck of a lot better than last week's terrible pour.

 

No, that's a real interesting selection for a venue though.

 

I've had their Helles, Czech Pale Lager, and Czech Dark Lager and not a bad one in the bunch.

Full review linked above. Full New Beer Weekend #261 take linked here. WBAYDN take, this is a solid balanced Hazy IPA packed with pineapple, tangerine and melon flavor.

 

A rare hazy for me but one I usually reach for when I'm in the mood. New Realm Hazy Like A Fox 6.5% abv. Azacca, Citra, Mosaic, and El Dorado hops. Tropical and citrus fruit. No hop burn at all.

 

At Badger State Brewing...Jalapineapple Wheat. 5.3% Very tasty. Cheers!!

ISIL cross-post. Double Barrel Whiskey Business at Badger State Brewing. An imperial stout aged 6 months in J. Henry bourbon barrels before being transferred into some very hard to find Old Forester Birthday bourbon barrels for an additional 12 months of aging. The result is an incredibly rich and complex beer with notes of dark chocolate, dried fruits, vanilla, oak, and warming bourbon.

Happy Saturday afternoon! Shoutout to @Peach63 for kicking it off! I decided not to go to work today and get some things done! Enjoying a Tröegs “Nimble Giant “ DIPA! We were planning to go to Hidden River Brewing’s 10th anniversary party but decided not to because of the iffy weather.
