    Hey, BA happy Saturday. Just took the whole (extended too) family to the zoo. Very draining in the heat, haha.

    Home now prepping for a small bbq. Just tapped a keg of Sierra Nevada Oktoberfest. It's good, but i feel like i can always taste the SN yeast strongly in all the beers

    Hey, fellow BA'ers; it's good to be back. Missed a while with Chromebook troubles: Got a software update, and, ever since, my built-in mouse didn't work. I'm relatively old-school when it comes to being tech-savvy (if I get my turntable to work, it's a good day lol), so I'm hoping I can take care of things soon. Not very well-versed in transferring photos in between pages on either my phone or tablet, at least to BeerAdvocate...But, I digress! =)

    Here's my first new beer explored today: The 5.5% BXR Ice Premium Lager Beer from Monroe, Wisconsin's Minhas Craft Brewery (bookending an article on the 1974 filmic version of The Great Gatsby, for no particular reason)...

    ...and second, a far more drinkable brew, the 5% Berry Styles Raspberry Sour, from Picton's Prince Eddy's Brewing Co. (shown bookending Mel Brooks' Young Frankenstein)...
