Now that firestone holds events on Friday, do folks still plan to meetup at the Adelaide?

Are backpacks allowed? I assume at a beer fest with unlimited pours they wouldn't even care if there were beers in it... not that I'd do that... other than for the walk between the fest and hotel...

Ah, checked the FAQ. backpacks=cool, outside drinks=no go. Cool. mainly just didn't want to have to carry around a bottle of sunscreen all day

I think you should hang your sunscreen around your neck. All the cool kids are doing it nowadays :sunglasses:

Based on the silence , and the overwhelming amount of Tickets up for grabs in here, probably just another run of the mill lackluster FW event.....

    Right guys?:stuck_out_tongue:

I had a blast like always! And the food was back on par with previous years. Enjoyed several offerings from Frau Gruber and Yo-Ho. The German Coast Pils from pFriem was outstanding. Enjoyed Seavo more than pFriendship Pils on the collab front.

Super stoked to see the Moksa folks pouring there this year!

Stayed at Paso Robles Inn twice, get a garden room to avoid street noise. Easy walk to downtown, quick Lyft to the fairgrounds. Also tried The Piccolo: nice rooftop, tiny rooms and pricey. With friends, a small house near 13th St was best for fridge space and a mellow patio share. Biggest tip: pick walking distance and ask for late checkout.

For tickets, I skip random DMs and use marketplaces with live inventory and a buyer guarantee. Snagged last minute seats for another event via https://www.seatpin.com/formula-1-tickets and liked the transparent, seller set pricing.

Has anyone figured out why FW shutdown pours in the stage area early last year?

In past years, they would close down the main festival pours at 4PM, and the stage area closer to 5PM. Last year they stopped pouring in the stage area shortly after 4PM.

My LA Beer Group is wondering if this is a new policy or just an outlier? As the late stage area pours were a significant value, especially given the higher ticket price.

Anyone know if this coming year lands on May 30th or June 6th?

My guess would be May 30. This would align with 2020’s festival, which ended up being cancelled.
