The one birthday tradition I have is to take the day off from work, it's a must. In fact this year, I will be taking almost a week off You should make it a tradition to at least take your birthday off if at all possible.

It is quite tasty - I bought a 6 pack of mixed bottles from Sam Smith and they've been great with a BB date of 2026 - the porter has a best by Dec 31, 2026. Cheers!!

einstok- Toasted Porter - tasted great with Walmart's higher end house brand bettergoods 90% dark chocolate, made in Switzerland. It is worthy and about $3.80 a bar.

Awake at 2, since I couldn't sleep, figured might as well flex, so got up at 3:30 for work, at work at 4....which backfired, because I wasn't home until 12+ hours later. Had to do some more work an hour ago from the living room - how did we ever survive the days before internet?! - and now finally relaxing. I'm getting too old for these 12 hour days (and to think I worked 16s somewhat regularly when I was young and dumb)

 

New Aldi beer, picked up yesterday. Not in the BA system. Brewed by ABW in Virginia Beach, VA. Cheers LNBA!
