I'm going to have to wholeheartedly disagree with this. Drinking one now. Not impressed at all. :slight_frown: buried hatchet is way better IMO. Not to mention all the jester king stouts.

Completely different styles of stouts.... but if someone put a gun to my head, I would say Temptress is my fav... don't like Black Metal as much since they changed the yeast profile (not to say I think its bad by any stretch)

Oh, I know they are different styles. But he said stout... And they are both stouts.

I agree in part, it's good and at times great but not best. Buried Hatchet is just a great beer period..between it and Green Flash's Double Stout I'm pretty set on a year round Stout to drink.

For a cold night though...give me the Temptress, I brought a lot on my ski trip and they were perfect in front of the fire with a little nib of coffee liquor. Also Temptress seems like a beer that can adapt well to various treatments and one offs.

Drinking a fresh Maharaja tonight though...man is it tasty. My taste buds are slowly pulling me back into hop overload after a summer of sour and a fall of stouts

I had heard that info as well, but I didn't want to put information out there if it wasn't finalized. Seems like a great fit from a consumer standpoint...they cover great craft brands and every store I visit has always said great things about both teams (in full disclosure I helped Favorite out with a couple tastings last fall so I also have experience with them in a quasi professional way).

And the bros need to add a Dislike link so I can build a macro to dislike any post related to BEK or Andrews as it relates to FW Distro. Feel free to disagree with my dislike but be prepared to point to one retailer with a non expired Ruiniation bomber (and yes I'm going to beat this topic to death until improvement is made).
