The news about Jack is killing me. I was fortunate enough to see him twice with Keith Jarrett, once at the Masonic in SF, which might be the best show I've ever seen, certainly the best jazz show. This one hurts.

 

Back to a darned yellow beer.

Drinking this #2 tonight from the Big Box. It's not a rare one for these parts but is a very solid collab beer.

My last of this great beer.

 

Cellar purge continues. This is 10 December 2021 can. Original canning, $5 a can. Free shipping. This has mellowed a bit over time. Cinnamon has escaped. The clove and orange are still hiding in the background, the orange has punched its way out as this warms up. Minor barrel, not that this was ever in the front even when fresh. One of my top 10 beers. I missed the last release but I’m in if it releases again this year. Buy it if you ever see it.

Debating tickets for this show in March, or is it April. A bit pricey but I think worth it.

What do you think? After I had read so much hype (this was several years ago), I was disappointed. I think the name makes you (unfairly?) compare with TH Julius, and it didn't stack up.
