Thanks for the open @flagmantho with what looks to be an excellent crystal clear German Helles.

I have nine of these Belgian Pale Ales currently at about 85% greatness level from what it was fresh. Really hoping they package again, will brave the cold if they bring it back draft only this Fall/Winter.

RAR Out Of Order Mango Dole Whipped Smoothie Fruited Sour, 5% ABV. Pours moderately thick and opaque pale yellow with a ring of yellow bubbles that left lactose residue. Aroma is mango, pineapple, coconut, and vanilla ice cream. Taste is pineapple up front, then mango, vanilla, coconut, and lactose, equally sweet and tart. Decent creamy mouthfeel, overall excellent.

Good morning BAs! Ice plunge with a Head Hunter IPA:



Brrrr. The outside temp is 58° with the breeze making the feels like 53°. After a couple of plunges, the new hot tub (102°) felt great afterwards!

Our street where we live got a permit to shut it down and have a Halloween block party from 6-9pm tonight - “Nightmare on Hull Street”. There will be food and drinks, candy for the kids, and a costume parade at 6:30.

Last night I enjoyed Azulito(pale), and Azul Oscuro(dark), Mexican Blue Corn lagers from La Cumbre in Albuquerque. Excellent beers, and they pair very well with my comments in the thread "Making Beer Dumb Again".

Today, it's cool but otherwise a fine autumnal day, out here in McGregor, and both cats Gracie and Sundae were looking forward to investigating with me my three new beers of the day. I carefully selected all three as being from Toronto and the surrounding area (Etobicoke is but 13 km away), to help encourage the Toronto Blue Jays to win their first World Series in 32 years: First, it's my fifth brew from Toronto's Double Trouble Brewing--their 10.8% Hoser Juice Triple IPA; it's shown, poured, with articles on the cult classics Star Wars (George Lucas, 1977) and Videodrome (David Cronenberg, 1983), for no apparent reason...



Next, it's my fifteenth of Etobicoke's Great Lakes Brewery's handiworks--their 4.8% Dos Llaves Limón Mexican Lager...

Finally for today, it's my fourteenth of Toronto's Halo Brewery's wares--their 4.4% GOTO Pilsner...

All three beers are also shown bookending articles on the cult classics Planet of the Apes (Franklin J. Schaffner, 1968) and A Scanner Darkly (Richard Linklater, 2006), with no conceivable rationale...



Tomorrow: Three more new beers worthy of my intense consideration, from the following breweries:
--Bobcaygeon Brewing Company (Peterborough, Ontario; my eleventh of their wares);
--Heineken (Zouterwoude, Netherlands; my fourth); and
--Henderson Brewing Co. (Toronto; my seventh)...
