I would kill for regular fresh SNPA in Chicago @RaulMondesi .Also, congratulations on your Dodgers. Didn't have a dog in the fight after the Brewers were bounced. The lone drawback is the corrupt owners using it as a talking point for their planned second lockout of the decade. It's only been several years since the Dodgers had the 30th longest streak of not winning a World Series within a single location (1989-2019).

I'm currently the low man on the points totem pole so far in this thread with 4,905 points, though if I enter my remaining AWOL beer and place reviews in this Winter as planned, will finally bust a move upwards. No BA Karma for my first BA Box, but I don't do what I do for points; only for love of the beer and our great community.

Thanks to @RaulMondesi staying up late to kick off new-beer Wednesday! I've heard fruit smoothies are good for breakfast, so...

RAR Out Of Order - Going Where You Are Fruit Smoothie Sour, 5% ABV. Pours gloppy-thick mint-green with a stealthy one-finger head of the same color, which left lactose residue. Aroma is lavender, vanilla, and lactose. Taste is lavender and vanilla ice cream, quite sweet, slightly tart. Thick and creamy mouthfeel, overall excellent. The lavender taste is a bit odd.

Well I’m not drinking it right now, but I took the photo and wanted to post about it.

From a long weekend trip to London: St Austell’s Tribute Pale Ale



My first time trying it. The bottle sums it up perfectly. “Zesty”. Not citrusy, but almost. Spicy, good malt presence, not too bitter.

Pictured is London’s oldest “galleried” pub. My experience from the trip is that there are beautiful historic pubs, and then pubs with actual good beer. Not often do the two seem to overlap. Perhaps someone else has different thoughts?
