Have you figured out how many vanilla stouts Tecca is hiding in their chairs yet?

 

Noticed there is an LC25 glass in the store, free. That's not the one from the LC parties, correct? I thought someone who attended mentioned the glass there would be the one per staff.

Oooooo, wonder if D21 is coming today.

 

It's supposed to be coming today, based on the conversation in the Facebook group yesterday. However, the day before they said it was coming the next day (which would have been yesterday) so who knows.

 

Well usually LC releases come on Tuesday, so I can see taht being the assumption. But there wasn't a glass yesterday, either.

 

Did you make the trip out there?

 

No sir, couldn't if I wanted to. Going on a month now without a paycheck thanks to the children in Washington still arguing about the budget.

Not a cinnamon fan at all. If someone is planning to be at the Cellar this weekend and wouldn't mind doing a proxy pickup for 12 Candles, you are more than welcome to purchase my D21 allocation.

 

Double Bourbon Barrel Generational is exciting today - that was one of my favs from SP ever. Curious how it's drinking.

 

Is this the one they only offered on-site at the cellar back when it was released?

All 3 double barrel generationals are up there with my favorite SP beers, but that one they did onsite only is a notch above the others.

 

I’ve had them all, and while the double bourbon was good, man I still thing the original one is the best. And I’ve cracked at this point at least 7 bottles of it. It’s the best beer SP has done in a long time in my opinion.

 

Sorry man...That's brutal. I hope it gets resolved soon.

 

What ever happened to the 3F beer?

 

Someone said on the Facebook group a while back that the beer is bottled and they are just waiting on the label, that was around the time of the 12th anniversary of the brewery. Not sure of a current update though.

 

I had the original past it's prime at stout week. I think it kicked on my order too, so I basically got 1/3 of a pour.

The bourbon barrel generation I just happened to be in town that weekend - was so good.

 

How long do you guys think the To Go Double Vanilla bottles will be available? I might be able to get down there on Saturday but do you think they would last through next week?

 

Probably, the cellar has apparently been dead so far this week
