Phase Three Brewing Company (2025)

Arabesque… I see the negative feedback and I get it. I can’t put my finger on it… but something is off. There is like a sour apple taste… I don’t know that’s exactly it but something more extreme than dark fruit/raisin expectations. I’ve been in beer long enough to not really believe that time helps beer but I’m hoping that this is one of the few beers that time favors.

 

Minutaie 25 is fantastic. Had my bottle last night and need another. If anyone goes to Elmhurst this week, I’d appreciate any intel on if it’s in the cooler for sale (like 24 has been for much of this year).

2026 Ambassador spots start going out tomorrow via their FB. I think I'm on the list; I've certainly signed up but never get any acknowledgment so who knows. Good luck to all.

 

Im still debating whether to grab a bottle of regular ‘24 here in Europe as there’s more available than I thought.

 

My spot will be open. Too many issues picking up my allotment, I don't need the hassle.

Curious to thoughts on if Ambassador is worth it?

 

I like it for the virtual certainty of all the special releases. I’m a little less into Eunoia than I used to be but it’s still worth it overall. The 2 Eunoias per release allows you to split with someone too

 

Nothing really blew me away this year, so giving up the membership. It’s nice to get to split it with someone though.

Splitting it otherwise it would be a no. It’s basically eunioa club, but what we really want (minutiae, blend, and arabesque) weren’t included, in fact we had to go into a raffle to try to get the vanilla rye minutiae. More’s bottle club was way better this year, more diverse options of BA beer, less adjucted gimmicks. You only get one of most releases so splitting is harder but worth it

 

Just got invited to join the Membership; are the members bottles 8 unique bottles or 4 pairs of releases?

That's true, but every member who entered won. So at least they did that. The issue is they always offer these releases for the public instead of just offering to members first. Members should always be given first access to these releases and whatever is left gets offered to the public. I don't understand why they choose to not do that.

 

I’ve had one release where I didn’t win a random draw as an Ambassador. It was the 2 pack of cans collab with Goose. My buddy won so we just split it. Otherwise it hasn’t been a problem yet (though it sounds like the group is expanding this year)

 

I got an invite last night. I honestly forgot I ever even joined the waiting list, that was a solid few years ago. This thread seems a bit down on this particular membership, but I feel borderline obligated to give it a chance after all this time, haha. Ended up pulling the trigger, might as well see how it goes.

 

Same. Feel like I've been waiting forever to get an invite and decided to give it a whirl for 2026; I'll likely find someone local to split with to ease the cost burden a bit. Here's to hoping for great Ambassador things in 2026!

 

There isn't anything wrong with the membership it's just not overly exciting. I like the Eunoia beers and think P3 have toned down the adjuncts so the beers are more balanced now than they used to be. This year they started having member perks for each month which is cool and I think I took advantage of that a couple times. It's also nice to have early access to other things they release. But there have been a lot of complaints about their customer service in the past, and they don't seem as flexible as other breweries when it comes to accommodating their members.

 

There was that really limited bottle last year that I got burned on. And I had other ambassadors saying that in person releases for bottles like that is important to phase three's business lol

 

I did too. Out of Seattle, WA, lol. Definitely not getting my moneys worth by not being local but I've had a couple BA beers from P3 and enjoyed them. I hope the this years beer are better than what people have been saying lately!
