Of course, but I think the smaller can size might be part of the problem. Pricing it might be difficult, and also where to display it.

But you're right... if they were really motivated to sell individual cans, I'm sure they could come up with some sort of arrangement.

It makes sense pick up a single of something odd from a brewer that you aren't familiar with. SN Pils is just a straightforward lager from a well known source, so eight small cans shouldn't be too much beer for somebody to buy. It's just not worth it for the store to put out singles of something like this just so a few tickers could pick up one can. Also, the cashier's scanner might need an appropriate UPC.

No complaints about the beer, but the packaging doesn’t make sense to me.

Added bonus (especially for those fitness-obsessed drinkers attracted to the false promise of Mich Ultra-type beers) - you burn twice as many calories opening and pouring the two cans!

One of my locals was selling the 8 packs with a free SN Pils glass. Almost bought another 8 pack just for the glass.

The wife wouldn’t be happy with yet another glass.

I hope the pils glass is tiny and resembles an old time drinking vessel. (I can picture it in my mind. Describing it is another thing entirely.)

At 12.7 ounces it is small (tiny?). Too small to make it worthwhile for me. But it does look nice:

Reminds me of the thin-walled and dearly departed 10 oz FW Walker Pivo glasses that I miss.

There are pics of it at the SN website -- looks like a thin Kölsch Stang.

Are you saying that you wouldn’t buy this beer due to the can size even though you often drink less than 12 oz and save the rest for another day? I’m not trying to be critical, it just seems like this can size is perfect for you.

Apparently the style I was thinking of is a sham. But that looks cool. Free glass with a purchase I’d already make? Say no more!

There's something unsettling about pouring a can of beer into your glass and it's only half full. A second can was perfect.

I'm not a fan of the hops that are used in this pils. The flavor comes across as too earthy to me.

i saw broken up packs at trader joes

    Waste of space.
The only "european" thing about this can is it's trying too hard to be cool .

What they fail to see is thslat the shitty " distinctive american flavor" ( overwhelming hop flavor making it SNPA) cancels out any "european" edginess they're trying to market in a dumbass can.

You can't be both. Make up your god damned mind.

Nope, that's purely an American beer marketing thing. :poop:

We had some jokes, pokes and good solid laughter at the last BA Zoom meeting re these SN Pils cans. Right down to "Is that a can of SN Pils in your pocket or are you just glad to see me?" :joy::beers:

Drinking two now. Had to pour both cans into my usual beer glass just so it wouldn't look half empty before I even took the first sip. Not a fan of these little toy cans.
