    Praying Cafe Deth or SJ hits Tavour before my crate closes in 2 days (yeah right). Haven’t had any Rev in a while and I decided to open a Tavour order for the first time in 2 years because Deth’s Tar showed up and I decided I wanted a christmas gift for myself. Also snagged Gravedigger and Apple Brandy ryeway. Vanilla/cocoa Deth was like $30 for the stovepipe which is way too much

    Picked up my share from my buddy that I split with this past weekend. Drank a GDB last night and SJ tonight. I've officially decided that I don't need to be in any other membership next year.

    I might bite on one or two. I loved this one 3 or 4 years ago , but the last release was was too sweet for me. :sob:

    The last release before label change was along the lines of Central Waters Scotch Ale . The last GDB and recent VSOGDB broke my damned heart:sob:.

    Read on untappd that this release of GDB is nothing like years past, too sweet, so I gotta do research :sunglasses:

    I also picked up a few bottles of Revolution of Ruby, and I'm enjoying one now. Very refreshing to have a high-quality, no-fuss, genuinely American-style barleywine here in the Midwest that isn't Behemoth.

    I'm holding out for tavour or half time to get some, but I'm assuming the consensus is Rum VSOJ is worth picking up (putting aside debates about premium pricing etc). How do people find it compares to the base?

    I thought it was great & bought a 2nd stovepipe. The rum adds an interesting dimension that's unique to this release.
