Oh we got it. Wonderful! My wife loves the wines from that part of Hungary, so it was a slam dunk

 

Just missed out on 2x4. It has tapped out.

 

It's unbelievably good.

Can you imagine if Half Acre added that nitro widget capability to their canning line?? One can dream....

 

I had the Marabi and thought it was dope! Cool rum-saturated vibe goes well with Coconut. The jazz pumping in through the speakers really rounded the experience (Marabi is a kind of jazz).
Immortal is the one that's weird for me, but I'll let my can sit for a few months and see how it develops.

On Saturday both were done-zo.

 

I was pleasantly surprised to find it back on tap last weekend. Must have another keg of it perhaps

 

Everything was back last Saturday including 2x4 on Nitro and triple barrel non adjunct

 

They did, though - Midnight Choir was a canned nitro BA stout. I still have a can of it in my fridge, I wonder if it didn't turn out the way they hoped, and abandoned the nitro cans.

 

Just had lunch at HA, all six Benthics were on draft, including the nitro 2x4 and non-adjuncted triple barrel.

I asked Half Acre about this. It was a trial run done with loaned equipment. They decided not to pursue it further due to cost and complexity, but there were no quality issues.

 

Any word on big hugs this year? noticed it’s not on the website under seasonal anymore

Easily their worst beer, which is a shame because the original cat logo was one of the best.

 

I don't want Big Hugs, Big Hugs is a beer that can't get no love from me.

 

The demise of the coffee stout in general is not something I would’ve pictured 10 years ago.

 

What about the demise of BAD coffee stouts, though?
