    New beer night. Loveland Ale Works - Tripel

    Brewed 12-10-2025, rather fresh. Pretty nice, somewhat round and a touch of sweetness with a hint of sour on the finish to balance. Very little fizz, even less than the style usually has.

    Saw this today and thought I'd give it a try. I don't know what it is about Lawson's "Sip" beers, but I get a very distinct sweat/cat piss taste from them, that's why you don't see me drinking many of their beers. This one is no different, I even got the same notes in the aroma. It's okay, but I wouldn't buy it again, it's also on the sweet side as well.

    I know it sounds crazy, but when I get that cat-pissy aroma from a beer, I know that I'm going to love it. Simcoe is famous for this note.
