A new hoppy offering from the Land of the Rising Sun. It is a good one with Noble Hops character with a minimum of 95% foreign malt. It is on the sweet & malty side for a Pilsner and comes in at 5% ABV. Can says limited release.

 

A new brewery to me and I will say it is as good as it looks. I am heading out to do some Uber Eats while the family sleeps. Cheers all.

If you had told me 10-2 With a Playoff berth at the beginning of the season I would have taken it. Winning by 17 in the first quarter & gacking away the game, not so much...

First 3 days of work were great. The cumulative effect of 9K+ steps have beaten my ass

Thanks to everyone who joined us on the Beer Zoom last night, it was great to see everyone! You guys are the reason they've been successful and I really appreciate that. I hope everyone has a fantastic Christmas and New Years! Cheers - I will be back later today with a beer in hand. I have a busy morning but I have to go into Wormtown so I'll probably stop at the liquor store in the city and check out what they have, I know this particular store usually has Parabola which is always a good choice.

G'day all!

I'm sipping on this 50th Anniversary Thomas Hardy Ale that I got from the Bine and Vine. How is it, you might ask. It's only 7 years old but it reminds me of a 15 or older year TH when it was brewed by Hanlons or Eldridge Pope. Leather, caramel malt that's not so sweet, pitted fruit, toffee, wood. Oxidation, yep. Still, I am very pleased with it.

Saturday! Glad to be here! Missed the BA Zoom meeting last night as I obviously needed sleep. Dinner, sofa, Micah called and I think that's what woke us up about 10. Fed the cats, hit the hay. Those meetings are always a good time. I'll catch the next.
2 more cold days here then some moderate temps for the holiday week. A pretty rocky Dec so far with decent snow. Very windy today.
I've been pondering this brew for a while and since I got a "wake up call" from yer manno who gave it to me, the time to pop the top couldn't be more fitting.
3 Sheeps Bakers Dozen Imp Stout 13.2% and a scrappy salty pairing for this beer of Fricke's smoked ham, homemade nut bread, cheddar & havarti. Gittin' busy.
