Bingo. Good deductive reasoning. @cskollmann If Bradfords is too far, L Knife distributes Alchemist, & they might be able to help you find something closer.
Bradfords is kicked (4 cases Heady, 1 Focal). Luke's in Plymouth, which is a horrible packy, has a few 4-packs left of each. I am guessing that this was a pretty large drop. I have emailed L Knife before, & they have steered me in the right direction.
The other day (and every blue moon) I found Focal Banger/Heady at the Wegmans on Chestnut Hill. They don't seem to get much and it goes fast. But they had a steady supply of Sierra Harvest Wet Hop this fall, one of my all-timers.
Forgot to post in this thread that Market Basket in Hanover had 10 + cases dropped sometime in December. There were a couple of cases 2 weeks ago (no limit, I bought 1) @ $14.99/4 pack.
Heady drop at Redstone. One 4 pack PP. I also lucked into a four pack at my local store this morning canned 1/15/26.
I used to live right across the street from that Wegmans (my God I miss that). I would walk over multiple days a week to check out if they had it. They basically get enough to fill that row and there's no limits. That place gets so much traffic Heady is gone the day it hits the shelf. I recall one time I picked up a four pack at night and then wanted to grab another four pack for someone the next morning. It was already gone.
Totally missed that, but I did snag DS there the day of the Denver game. Kind of an insanely good and fresh beer selection for a grocery store.
Yeah for a grocery store it's solid. Mostly used it for spot purchases but if I really wanted to stock up I'd drive up the street to Ball Square. Atlas around the corner was decent too.
