Well is it a brew worthy of my Northwest Beer Tour, or do we have a party crasher here?

Montucky Cold Snack Lager has to be about the prettiest beer to come out of Bozeman, Montana in some time. Then I started reading the fine print – apparently this 24 ounce chugger of a beer is actually brewed for “Montucky Cold Snacks, Bozeman, Montana” by “Montucky Cold Snacks, La Crosse Wisconsin!.” Wisconsin brewed!

Well, how is the beer anyway? Calling themselves the “Unofficial Beer of Montana,” Montucky Cold Snack Lager logs in at 4.1% ABV and has absolute polished-diamond clarity. This beer really reminds me a lot of my Mexican Beer Tour from earlier in the year – many of the Mexican Lagers also arrived in these Herculean 24 or 25 ounce cans, were available in the cold case of your favorite gas station, and were all right around 4% ABV and with remarkable clarity. Montucky checks off all those boxes!

I do love the “8% Back To Local Causes” right about where a casual observer might expect the alcohol ABV percentage. NICE TRY!

A great and tasty beer to chug when you are REALLY thirsty and need to take in a lot of fluids! Not much head or lacing, but that’s missing the point. This beer is for large-format CHUGGING….. DUDE!

Bearded Brewer Devil's Nest West Coast DIPA. Known for their hazebro's but they do solid job with the style. An easy going 8.4%!

Awful day today. While I was working, my wife discovered that the neighbor's dogs got into our shop through the back door and killed our bunnies Add a loathsome work day to that and sciatica from tweaking my back the other day, and.. We'll just say I need a beer or two
