Nice looking plate. Carrot hummus?? Thats a new one I've never heard of before

 

I was a bit skeptical too, but it's just roasted carrots and garlic, instead of chickpeas, along with the usal olive oil, lemon, spices...and I loved it. Cheers!

 

This is pretty good, and I need a good beer. For those of you cyber nerds out there, I've been studying for my CISSP for months. I'm getting close and I'm tired of studying and trying to decide if I'm ready. So I'm going to drink a good beer instead.

Roy was 'da MAN and never got enough credit for his immense talent. My parents used to watch Hee-Haw every Saturday night so I grew up watching Roy play guitar (along with all the other instruments he played). He was the reason I started playing guitar, just an awesome player!

 

Such an underrated beer. I’m local and even forget about it….this reminds me…gotta pick some up!

This one is getting hazier each batch it seems. A very nice pungent bite of grapefruit and pine coats the entire palate. Reminds me of why I fell in love with IPAs 15 years ago.

Too early for my nightcap? Another new to me beer from Saturday’s Tavour box - FW’s “Midnight Merkin” (2025), a BA Stout with vanilla beans, cocoa nibs & almonds:



Poured at 51.9°. Simply put - delicious! Not much bourbon, but chocolate and vanilla in spades. A little almond in nose/on tongue as beer warms. Outstanding!

The cold front is moving in tonight with cooler temps all week/weekend…can’t wait! Cheers y’all!
