    If you can't trust a skinny chef, can you trust a sober brewer? I say no. Would you take swing tips from a golf pro who doesn't golf?

    While we're at it, I also want my brewers stoned outta their gourd. Translates into good beer. Not gonna call anyone out, here.

    haven't been recently but used to buy their beers all the time here in CT. i used to love the Mountain Holidays in VT as well as ? The Riddler ? and Infusco. i can't say that i've ever been, is it worth a trip?

    Anyone been to Lucy and Howe recently?
    Do you know how they are doing?

    Not sure it’s worth the trip.
    But if yoúre in the area (Morrisville VT) it’s the best place to stop. they don’t have food, but they are incredibly nice.
    I used to drink their beers a lot 15 years or so ago.
    I always liked the Vermonster, Ridge Runner, their Imperial Stout and some of their IPAs.

    Jesse's place is next town north of me. They have a very loyal local following, a family fave, and regular food pop-ups on weekends. The state rep does her monthly meet & greets there during the Legislative session. They're very community oriented and well-supported for their beers, coffeehouse offerings, and vibe. I think they're back to self-distro since Beer Shepherd went under, but someone may have picked them back up.

    As an update, Burlington Flatbread, which used to host Zero Gravity, is starting their own brewery called MotherShip. I plan to check them out soon. At least some of the beers for now appear to be identical with Zero Gravity.

    Just to clarify: Destiny & Paul have owned & brewed at the original brewpub across from City Hall Park for decades. It was known as Zero Gravity/American Flatbread. Destiny has always, and continues to be the Head Brewer there. Her recipes were unique to that brewpub. Paul split his duties more recently by building & overseeing the large production brewery, always known as Zero Gravity, south of downtown on Pine St. and created recipes specifically to be sized up for that operation, some contract brews, & widespread distro. They also own a large canning and contract brewing operation out of the old Magic Hat brewery off Rte. 7 south. Mothership is simply the re-naming and separation of the original brewpub from the now very large ZG operation that now also includes recent purchases in Stowe of the Rusty Nail and Idletyme.

    Stopped by Blackback Pub in Waterbury today. I still think on average they are the best beer bar in the state, though I know nothing about the south. Comments?

    Went by Mothership Brewing this evening. I’ll admit that Amer7Flatbread has been ther a long time, and they may have been serving these same beers
    And I really haven’t been there in a very long time
    But it was nice on a cold Vermont evening}

    Kraemer & Kin is a very good small brewery flying under the radar, a little like Freak Folk, though I think FF is a little better. Would like to to visit the K&K taproom though.
