    I've always enjoyed Tripel Karmeliet (one of my wife's favorites) and have a couple of the original glasses.

    How does it compare in the can?

    I would need to do a side by side bottle vs can. Though based on the last bottle I’ve enjoyed I don’t think there’s much difference… maybe fresher? While keeping in mind I live roughly three hours a drive from Belgium.

    You will find me sipping on Belgian tripel on a weekly basis, I’m confident Americans would too if they weren’t about six bucks a single in most states.

    PS: Glad your Tripel Karmeliet glasses made it safely to Finland; sometimes others of my glassware don’t need more than a "journey" to the sink to end up in pieces…

    That is one of my favorites that I’d have in my fridge all the time, if it was better priced. I still (somewhat)remember a quote from Duvel Moortgat when they bought Ommegang saying that American breweries need to set their prices as a “premium “ product. At the time 75cl bottles of Hennepin were selling for around $5 and immediately jumped by $2.

    Happy Tuesday BAs

    Headed south to Mansfield area this afternoon - for some sushi with my hard working RN girlfriend; have missed seeing her much the past few weeks, due to weather and illness etc...

    Picked up a single of this one - I like it - may have to pick up a sixer - quite good!

    my oldest friend found this unopened 50+ year old bottle of bourbon in his house (his parents house, where he now lives, since they both passed), way back in a kitchen cabinet - wowza - that is some tasty hooch! Ancient Ancient Age - 10 years plus another 50+ years old!

    Thanks for the kick off @Shanex . Rain is better than all the damn snow that has been dumped here so far! And I agree about those Belgian Tripels. I absolutely love them, but pretty pricey!

    That's pretty awesome! I once found a bottle of dandelion wine 10 years after I bottled it. It was very mellow by then.
