This offering from Tree House is part of a Brewer Versus Brewer contest the brewery is having betwixt four of their brewers, with the challenge being to brew the best hoppy triple IPA they can brew.

This one is a good start, with loads of mango, papaya and guava, plus a dollop of sweet oats on the finish. Excellent stuff, IMHO.

Same here. I was thinking of crossing the river back on Saturday to see if it was in Hudson yet. Didn't do it, and went home instead.

Always tough to decide what beer goes best with watching the Blackhawks lose again. I think this is a good choice.

 

Have a good Hump Day. Down to the last 2 chapters of Arnold Schwarzenegger's Memoir from 2012, still 4.5/5. I think next is Influence: The Psychology of Persuasion by Robert Cialdini since it is a quick one of only 10 hours. I rediscovered Advanced Systemcare Ultimate and installed it to clear out junk files and clean up the OS settings to improve speed. Deleted 10GB of unneeded files right out the gate. I need to sift through some of my storage hard drives for other stuff I don't really need anymore.

Julia is instant pot cooking a half pork loin, I think it was 7 lbs from aldi. Used leftover pickle brine so the pickling spices are getting smelly in here

Man, Bowie is one of the few "old dinosaurs" of classic rock that continued to make great albums that you actually wanted to listen to, and did different things, up until the end. I mean, good on the Stones, or Who, or McCartney, or whatever for continuing on. But none of their later albums meant anything outside yet another never ending world tour, cause they knew those albums where bad, it was just an excused to play another tour and all the classics they have done 50 year prior. Bowie, actually was still engaged at a high level in his new music in a way the others weren't, at least IMO ha.
