    Today, it's cool but beautiful outside, out here in McGregor--and both cats Gracie and Sundae were pleased to help me check out the day's new brews: First, with Sundae, it's my twenty-sixth beer from Toronto, Ontario's Halo Brewery--their 4.5% collaboration with St. Jacobs, Ontario's Block Three Brewing Company, Three Rings Rice Lager...

    Tomorrow: Three more new beer explorations for me to embark upon, from the following breweries:
    --Refined Fool Brewing Co. (Sarnia, Ontario; my seventeenth of their handiworks);
    --Sons of Kent Brewing Company (nearby Chatham, Ontario; my thirteenth); and
    --Wellington Brewery (Guelph, Ontario; my fifteenth)...

    This has been a brutal winter - more like an old school winter around here, we've gotten away easy the last 5 years or so. Personally, I love NE but I do hate the snow. Cheers!

    At T.F. Green International Airport, located in Warwick, Rhode Island, the previous record for snowfall from a single storm was 28.6 inches (Blizzard of 78).

    By early Monday afternoon, the current storm had beaten that mark by more than 4 inches.

    Currently 26 and windy AF here in the Southern Appalachians just south of Asheville. Dusting of snow overnight, fortunately not even close to what our fellow advocates along the NE coast are experiencing. No power and cold temps are no joke, stay warm peeps!
    Bought this Marzen last month knowing the age on it but still could not resist. Deep River Brewing is in Clayton, NC (near Raleigh), about 4 hours from here. It has held up fairly well as it is toasty, some honey sweetness, and hopping that balances and leaves a light fruit flavor in post sip aspirations.

    Sir, your mastery of ultra-low light (f/1.2 - f/1.8) never ceases to amaze me. Absolutely stunning as it pertains to indoor beer pics, providing maximum light and a very shallow depth of field. I can also tell you're a savant when it comes to ISO/Shutter balance. Gotta quiet that noise & shake. Well done, sir. Well f*cking done. :beers:
