Happy Monday ba. Gots about to 23 inches of shit snow -although Islip airport is reporting 29. Only took us around four hour to clear the driveway and get the cars free.

The old place pre-Helene reminded me of the River Speyside distillery Glen Grant's cask dungeon we visited 20 years ago; the new place is very nicely done.
I recommend Zillicoah to any lagerhead visiting the Asheville area.

 

The girlfriend wasn't a huge fan so I'm enjoying the rest after work.

1) Pilsner Urquell (4.4%): A Czech Pilsner with flavors of lemon, bread, buttery notes.
versus
2) Steel Toe Czech Pils (4.9%): A Czech Pils from Minnesota with flavors of lemon, bread, and floral notes. (Correctly matched the two blind)

Czech Pils Battle. First is Pilsner Urquell. Buttery salty notes. Incredibly smooth. The gold-standard.
Next is Steel Toe Pils. A bit more lemon and hops here. Not quite the same as Urqell.
Winner: Pilsner Urquell
